Circuit Snake

Grow a conductor across a circuit board: swallow the energy cubes, dodge the solder islands.

Best: 0

About the Game

The snake is a live conductor crossing a circuit board: it never stops, it only turns. Every energy cube makes it longer, and every fifth cube both speeds it up and drops permanent chips and solder islands onto the board, so your room keeps shrinking. Touch your own body, an obstacle or the board's edge rail and the circuit shorts out. You can't reverse into yourself, but two quick key presses are queued — which lets you plan a double turn around a corner in one motion. Strong players keep the middle of the board clear and coil their body along the edges.

Tips

  • Coil along the edges and keep the middle empty. Curling up in the centre walls you in with your own tail.
  • When new chips appear, look at the board rather than the cube. Getting trapped behind an obstacle is what ends most runs.
  • Two presses are queued, so you can plan a full U-turn in tight corners with a single flick.
